    New report shows cell phone use continues to be a major cause of crashes in New Hampshire. The National Safety Council has estimated that nationwide nearly 24% of all crashes were caused by a person using a cell phone while driving.  In response to the risks of distracted driving, the New Hampshire legislature passed a ban on handheld cell phone use in May 2014.
